RESULTS is pleased to release an upgrade to the way you view and interact with your Strategic Plan. All of your content has been seamlessly migrated into the new format. The philosophy remains the same. RESULTS still cascades your strategy through company projects and metrics, helping your team focus.
Now, they will be able to more easily understand how their work contributes to the overall success of your business. The biggest difference you will see is the layout and new views.
The Layout
In the upper right you'll see a toggle switch. Your Plan can be viewed in two modes:
- 'Setup' mode (above) walks you step by step through the creation and planning session.
- A progress bar to track % complete is displayed.
- To edit, hover over a section and click on the edit icon.
- 'View' mode (below) gives you a compacted One page view.
Note: View mode will only show components which have content
Both views give you access to the Strategy Center in the right hand panel. It can be resized or completely minimized to view the plan in full.
It now holds step-by-step content, videos and workbooks designed by our Head of Strategy and Consulting, Stephen Lynch. Click on a section, watch the video, and bring your ideas to the next Quarterly Strategic Review with Lynch to refine them so they will inspire and focus your team.
Cascading Strategy
A key component of the new Strategic Plan is the ability to link Strategic Projects and key Metrics to sections of your Strategic plan. RESULTS is the first platform in the world to link these two elements together. Never before has your Strategy cascaded through your organization as it will now.
Create Metrics (Key Performance Indicators)
In Setup mode, each component of your Strategic Plan has a header that looks like this:
You can add existing Goals to this section, or you can create new ones right here:
- Click the link; the wording will be different based on the section. Here, you'd click on "Edit Metrics (Key Performance Indicators)"
- Choose to either '+ Add Existing Goal' or 'Create New Goal'
- Add Existing Goal
- Search for the name of the Goal you would like to add to your Strategy
- Click the Add Goal link
- Click the Save button to commit the change
- Search for the name of the Goal you would like to add to your Strategy
- Create a New Goal
- Follow the normal Create Goal process to create you new Goal linked to your Strategy
- Add Existing Goal
- Goals now appear as part of your Strategy
Create Strategic Projects
- Click the Edit Current Strategic Projects header
- Choose to either '+ Add Existing Goal' or 'Create New Goal'
- Add Existing Goal
- Search for the name of the Goal you would like to add to your Strategy
- Click the Add Goal link
- Click the Save Button to commit the change
- Create a New Goal
- Follow the normal Create OKR process to create your new Strategic Project linked to your Strategy
- Strategic Projects will now appear on your Strategy
- Add Existing Goal
